Thermo-mechanical interaction in nonlinear vibrating systems
Pešek, Luděk ; Půst, Ladislav
The interaction between mechanical properties of vibrating system including hardening spring nonlinearity and thermal processes taking place in the rubber-like spring element having high inner damping are studied on one degree of freedom system. Basic differential equations for motion of mechanical system and for heat transfer are solved by numerical simulation.
Nonlinear formulationof airfoil vibration for aero-hydroelastic calculations
Horáček, Jaromír
In the most of well known publications on aeroelasticity it is not possible to find any derivation of the airfoil section vibration for large amplitudes. The contribution presents fundamental nonlinear equations of motion usable in calculations of aeroelastic instability boundaries of airfoils and nonlinear boundary conditions of impermeability on the airfoil surface vibrating in ideal flowing fluid.
To the analysis of the bearing stiffness influence on the amplitude frequency characteristic of the gear wheels
Hortel, Milan ; Škuderová, Alena
To the analysis of the bearing stiffness influence on the amplitude frequency characteristic of the gear wheels. This contribution deals with the theory of planar steady damped oscillation of the isolated pair of spur gear, which is in two orthogonal direction elastically suspended. The analysis of the periodical solution was carried out by means of transformation of the differential boundary-value problem to the integral problem with the successive approximation and simulation method. The purpose is the determination of the bearing stiffness influence on the dynamic force in gearing mesh.
Contribution to experimental research of thermo-mechanical behavior of tram wheel rubber segment
Pešek, Luděk ; Vaněk, František ; Veselý, Jan ; Cibulka, Jan
This contribution deals with press-tensile dynamic tests of tram wheel rubber segments. The evaluation of dynamic quantities was performed using hysteresis loops of force response versus loading displacement. The obtained dynamic behavior of the segments will be used for their numerical modeling in vibro-acoustic finite element tram wheel model. For research of thermo-mechanical interactions of elastomers in dynamic loadings, the inner temperatures were measured by use of single ended bead-type thermistor.
